Bras to Wear With Every Outfit

Low back and backless dresses are an essential part of your summer wardrobe, but they fall in the back of your closet because you want to wear it, but you don’t want to worry about your bra showing and taking away from the outfit or giving you a horrible tan line.  I love backless dresses, but I don’t like when even a little of my bra shows. Here are a few tips to wear that summer backless dress with no worries.

Open Back

Backs are one of the most underrated parts of the body, and honestly one of the best places to show off your shape.   The problem with open back dresses is any bra you seem to find doesn’t seem to give support and not be seen.

When you are wearing your boho backless shirt or dress make your bra part of your outfit.  Yes, I said show off your bra, but just the back of it.  American Eagle sells the best bandeaus.  Bandeaus are bras that are comparable to a the same style as a strapless swimsuit but without uncomfortable underwire.

High Neck

High Necks are all in this season, from beach wear to dresses.  But I have found it is one of the hardest designs to find a good bra for.

A strapless bra is the easiest solution to wear with high necks.  Try to find a bra with the that is kinda like a short corset.   This will create more of a shape and give you more support.  The problem with strapless bras is that you are constantly worried about whether or not it is falling down.  The longer line helps everything stay in place.

Open Sides

Cutout dresses are becoming a very popular option for a sundress.  The only problem is that sometimes your bra shows, and there is no way to avoid it.
My advice go with a skin color lace bra.  The reason being is there is no easy way for someone not to see your bra, but in choosing a simple lace pattern without any glitter or gems, from far away, it won’t look like you’re wearing a bra or you're wearing a tape bra.

Plunging Neck Line

You might not know this, but you get the most support from the band of your bra and not the front.

For a plunging neckline go with a bra made especially for a low neckline or a triangle bar.  The plunging neckline might be low enough so it won’t show.  Sometimes the dress’s neck is too low for any bra.  Wearing a triangle bra just adds little lines going across your body.  You can either match the color with the dress or choose a skin color bra.
