Black halter crop tops are more popular now than Justin Bieber was when I was in eighth grade.  Black crop tops are great because you can put any print over them.  This jacket is great because it is eye catching but still shows off the days you spent sweating at the gym to get those killer abs.

Tuesday June 2- Grace and Frankie Marathon

Tuesday has become the new Monday in my opinion.  On Monday, you're all rested from the weekend, then Tuesday hits, and you just want a comfy sweater, wine, and some TV.  An  oversized sweater paired with some shorts make the perfect outfit because you can still show off your long legs and ankle boots while keeping warm.

This outfit is great for a casual night out with your fellow employees.  The reason being is it's cute, so you can still flirt with the cute bartender, but it is also appropriate that you could wear it to work that day under a blazer.

This outfit is great for a night out.  The biggest mistake people make is making the leather jacket the focal point of their outfit.  These pants make this outfit, and the vertical lines are figure-flattering.  Horizontal stripes can make your legs look larger than they are.

Technically, I’m still a Political Science minor at school, and with the upcoming election, I wanted to write about fashion.  But writing about Hillary’s blue pant suits was not something I thought would be very interesting, and not funny.  I did, however, find some pretty interesting presidential 2016 campaign swag.

Egg White DIY Face Masks

Even though I love my Freeman lemon mask that I can get for $3 at the drugstore, I still love doing my weird DIY face masks.  Even though you might find using eggs in a face mask strange, they have been the most successful for me with my skin problems.  Here are three that I have tried that have worked really well.  

What Makes Egg Whites Good For Your Skin?

Potassium - Moisturizes and hydrates the skin and preserves moisture.

Protein - repair and growth

Hydrating Egg White Face Mask

What you need:

1 egg

¼ of an avocado

1 tsp. yogurt

Avocados have natural oils that moisturize your skin and yogurt eliminates acne-causing bacteria.  

Directions:

1. With a fork, mash up the avocado until it turns into a paste
2. Add the yogurt and egg white and mix
3. Apply to your face and leave on for 15 minutes
4. Wash off the mask in lukewarm water

Acne - Clearing Egg White Face Mask

What you need:

1 Egg White

1 tsp. of lemon juice

½ tsp. of honey

Honey is important because it will give your face that summer glow, and lemon juice will fight off acne.  

1. Whisk together the egg white and the lemon juice then add the ½ tsp. of honey.
2. Wash your face in warm water, this opens up the pores.  Apply the paste to your face.
3. Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes.
4. When the mixture is try take it off using warm water and pat dry with a towel.

Even though I was more of a fan of the book then the movie The Fault in Our Stars I had to put Ansel in this post, because he seems like a very hilarious person.  And this baby faced, actor is single.

New Trend: Two Piece Twin Sets

Online shopping is something I do so much that I think I should start calling it a hobby.  When I was looking through websites for new clothing ideas, I came across this interesting idea.  There is a new trend that’s two-piece outfits.  Matching is no longer for toddlers when the top and bottom goes together.  These outfits are either a cop top with a skirt or a crop with a pair of shorts.

A New Take On a Maxi Dress

Maxi Dresses are something that I’ve never come around to.  I feel like the long single printed dresses can wash you out and hide your shape.  This is a new take on a maxi that shows your curves and is a little more sexy for those night outs.

This would be a very fashionable thing to wear to work if you work in a creative industry.  For some reason, I feel like this would be the perfect ensemble to wear to a gallery opening in New York City with a pair of heels.  

Body Con

This is a little different than the normal body con dress, and I kind of like it a lot more because bodycon skirts always ride up and become way too short on me.  But in the twin sets, the skirt is longer and hits at a flattering part of your waist if you’re like me and have an hourglass body shape.  

A Different Kind Of Romper

The worst thing about a romper is - I’ll just say it - when you have to use the restroom.  This twin set is a great idea because you don't have to mess with the straps of your romper. You just have the shorts, but it looks as cute as a romper.  

Trend Tuesday

There are some things that I never thought 19-year-old me would love to have in her closet right now like a pale pink tutu and a jumpsuit.  Trends are something that come and go, but they always seem to come back, so maybe don’t throw away everything once it goes out of fashion.

I am obsessed with skirts - no longer are they for 50s housewives.  These are skirts that go past your knee, but not to the floor.  They are great to wear with a cute pair of heels or wedges.  I would suggest wearing them with nude heels if there are multiple colors in the skirt.
