How Autumn Ombre is Unique All in it's Own

Ombre has not gone away and I don't believe it's going anywhere anytime soon.  Until recently I had the ombre hair style.  I have been dying my hair sense I was in the 6th grade and have never gone to a hair dresser.  I called and got an estimate for dying my hair ombre and it was over a hundred dollars.  I did mine for $9 and it only took 20 minutes rather then two hours.  For hair color I used a L'Oreal hair color.

The difference with "Autumn Ombre" is it isn't as blonde normal ombre.  The color your trying to achieve is more of a caramel.  The Style is perfect for fall because the caramel color blends in to the earthy tones of fall.  The other good thing about this different shade of Ombre is not everyone has it.  A large part of my decision t dye away my ombre is everyone at my school had the style when i came back to school but this darker styled ombre is more complex and higher fashion then the normal ombre.

3 Fall 2013 Trends You Need in Your Closet

If you google fall 2013 fall report you will get many photos of designer clothing that only people with trust funds can afford.  This post is about what i researched and what I personally think is in fashion.

1. Color-Maroon

Even though it is my school colors that has nothing to do why it is on my report.  Maroon is the perfect fall color.  It is  a deep red with having some purple tones.  Also its slimming.  The color looks perfect with the fall colors of the fall leaves.

2. Hair-The Sock Bun

I have never been able to accomplish the sock bun probably because my hair is extremely thin. But my friends always wear this style and it looks great.  I will tell you my trick behind sock buns.  If you choose you can use a sock to make it but then you have the risk of the sock coming out and showing.  If you search sock bun on amazon you can find a "donut' i would call it for as little at 26 cents.  Yes it does take many weeks to get here but it is worth the wait. 

3. Shoes- Brown Lace up Boots

These are my find of the season.  Two years ago there were these open towed brown lace up boots on Delias it was the worst decision not buying those.  This year i was looking on lulus and found these perfect boots and the best part is they were $31! Granted i had a 15% off coupon still they were a great deal and there comfortable.

My advice for you when ever you read anything about fashion online it to take it as an opinion.  I googled fall fashion trends and pretty much did not like anything because it was written by someone who makes more in a day then I make in a month.  Base what you want to wear this fall about what you like not about what some writer says is the right thing to wear.

The Mindy Project: The Other Dr. L Fashion

Finally I have a day off to catch up on The Mindy Project! I  have to admit that last weeks Mindy Project went a little over board with the fashion.  Sometimes when deciding what to wear it's better to be simple.  But with Mindy's character the fashion was spot on for her professional work clothing.

First up is Mindy's green Pajamas

These pajamas are classic Mindy.  I could not find these pajamas online but my advice about pajamas is never spend a lot of money on them.  The best place to buy pajamas is tjmaxx because you get high causality clothing for great prices. 

Mindy's Anthropology button down 

I think Miindy had better fashion than James Franco in this episode.  Not many people can pull off a long sleeve button down shift under a dress but the way the stylist pared this dress with a belt gives Mindy a great shape.  Her Anthropology  shirt is a great complement to this dress.

Mindy's Marc Jacobs Skirt

I'm in love with Mindy's Marc by Marc Jacobs Skirt it adds the perfect element of fun to Mindy's professional look.  The yellow shirt underneath brings out the yellow in the skirt which makes her outfit stand out.

But by the end of the second episode is if Mindy was going to have short hair all this season.  I thought by the second episode Mindy would said something about her hair.  The reason she cut it was because she went to Haiti but now will she get extensions or will she keep the short cut?

This Sea Salt Spray Will Change Your Life

 My favorite thing in the summer is doing DIY projects. Sea salt sprays can range up to hundreds of dollars ( which is ridiculous). Today I'm going to tell you how to make a great spray to transform your hair.

What you need 

1. Spray Bottle

2. Sea salt

3. Hot water

4. Conditioner 

5. Coconut oil

6. Fragrance

First full the bottle 3/4 with hot water. Put the desired amount of sea salt sea salt in the bottle (I put a spoon full). Add a drop of conditioner and oil. Add a fragrance if you want I added daisy by Marc . AND SHAKE. Shake for 3 minutes (sounds ridiculous) until all has blended and enjoy your Beachy hair!

The Best Prom advice You'll Ever Get

Prom is the one night every one will hope will be wonderful, but also it can sometimes be a little of a hassle before you arrive at prom.  Here's a few tips to get over the stress and have fun!

1. Go with the flow

Let me tell you the only way to make prom fun is try not stress about it. Seems impossible right?

2. When  stress comes just relax

 Prom can be extremely stressful and close to impossible to avoid, it's expensive and finding that right dress can be challenging. My advice to you is don't stress when something goes wrong. Forget about the bad and focus on the positive..

The days are longer and the sun is brighter and you can still wear your favorite winter accessory in spring. A scarf is the perfect add on to any outfit. If your ever in a rush and don't have time to plan out a perfect outfit just wear a plain top with a printed scarf. The best place to get scarfs for summer is tj maxx. They literally have a scarf in every color imaginable and they are all under 20 dollars!
